Fun fact: the first vending machine was created over 2,000 years ago by a Greek mathematician named Hero, who also invented the syringe. However, rather than providing holy water, like the vending machines in ancient Egyptian temples, vending machines today are designed to provide people with quick, unhealthy snacks.

Generally regarded as a conspiracy theory, adverse health consequences of chronic electromagnetic field (EMF) or radiofrequency (RF) exposure are becoming more apparent within the scientific community which offers this dilemma: is something a conspiracy theory if there is a plethora of scientific, independent research backing it up? And that is where I sit.

Garbage in, garbage out – as the old proverb says. That proverb seems to apply to many areas of life including one’s professional development, family values, and yes, of course, diet and health. In today’s America, people do not seem to think twice about what they put into their bodies if the food 1) tastes good and 2) brings them some satisfaction.

As many of the substances I research and post articles about, alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) is generally not a well-known substance. This article will begin by explaining what ALA is and continue by reviewing research examining how ALA is beneficial for people with diabetes.

From time to time, the conversation of artificial sugars arises. On one end, people believe if something is ‘approved’ by the FDA, it is entirely safe, and on the other end, people believe in only consuming sweeteners from natural sources. However, I have a different standpoint: I agree with the latter of the two statements, but I disagree with its reasoning.

There are certain things in the body you may assume you cannot repair. Of those things you may expect you cannot repair or regenerate, your brain is generally one of them. For decades, traditional medicinal science has claimed your brain is beyond repair, and if your brain was ever damaged, there is nothing you could do to repair it. In one of my recent articles, “The Importance of a B-Complex Supplement,” I mentioned heart disease is the leading cause of death in America being responsible for 1 in 4 deaths [1]. I also said B2, or riboflavin, has been shown to lower homocysteine levels, an amino acid linked with heart disease, so if you could decrease it, you could, in turn, reduce the risk of heart disease [2].

According to the Pew Research Center, a millennial is anyone who was born from 1981 to 1996 [1]. It is forecasted, the Millennial generation will overtake the Baby Boom generation at some point in 2019 as their population numbers hit 73 million and 72 million, respectively [1]. While millennials may be the frontrunners in political and social changes and movement, their mental and physical outlook is gloom.
