Stevia is an herbal shrub-like plant native to Paraguay. For over 1,500 years, peoples in South America have used fresh and dried stevia leaves to sweeten food, blend herbal medicines and beverage, such as yerba mate. 

Maltodextrin is a simple carbohydrate. Maltodextrin is not a sugar. It is 99.96% carbohydrate and .04% sugar. The amount of maltodextrin in one serving is nutritionally insignificant, and should not effect blood sugar levels in most individuals. The source of maltodextrin used in NuNaturals White Stevia Powder is from Identity Preserved (IP-Certified) Non-GMO corn.

Natural flavors used are from green plant extracts.  These extracts help to increase the sense of sweetness and rounds out the flavor of the products. These natural flavors do not contain any MSG (monosodium glutamate) or any other “natural flavors” that are known to cause allergic reactions in the body. We do scrutinize the ingredients that we use very carefully and would not use an ingredient known to cause reactions.
