Before I begin this narrative, I would like to point out my views do not represent the entire Generation Z, but this is solely my perspective. Also, I do have to note my biases. The FDA defines a drug as anything that “diagnoses, cures, mitigates, treats, or prevents a disease.” However, there are numerous natural substances and compounds scientific studies have argued to be an effective and safer alternative to drugs, but the FDA has not taken the time to look at them. A few examples being Black Seed Oil and Turmeric.
Why hasn’t the FDA approved Turmeric? Along with other ancient herbs and natural remedies, Turmeric is perhaps one of the most studied compounds, but for some reason, the FDA has yet to approve its use for even the simplest of situations. During the last several years, scientists have conducted thousands of studies examining Turmeric and its main active ingredient, curcumin .
The Black Seed (also known as Black Cumin or Nigella Sativa) was once called the “seed of blessing” in ancient Arabic culture, and it continues to amaze alternative health researchers, and lately, even mainstream scientists have been studying its benefits.
From partially hydrogenated to 100% vegetable oil, generic vegetable oil is perhaps the most common oil used in American kitchens, and there are three general reasons why these oils are highly toxic. The medical industry is an overwhelming monopoly controlled by a few companies. In 2016, “The 15 largest pharmaceutical companies in the U.S. account for ~90% of the industry’s total market share, and ~100% of the industry’s profit” with the top-two companies being Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer .
However, it is rarely publicized when a company has to pay a settlement.
Why are Healthmasters’ B Vitamins Different?
Debatably, B Vitamins are the most misunderstood, misrepresented, and saturated Vitamin in the market. Most large-chain grocery chain stores will set the prices of their B Vitamins and portray them as great deals when, in reality, it is misleading to people because the product they are purchasing is inactive and not absorbable. A vital concept to understand is not all B Vitamins are created equal.
