Prayer with Scripture references.
Prayer with Scripture references.
Heavenly Father, we rejoice in the day You have made and we are glad in it. We enter through Your gates with thanksgiving and into Your courts with praise, and we come boldly before Your throne of grace. (Ps 100:4, Heb 4:16) Not in our righteousness, but in the righteousness of Jesus Christ, our Great High Priest. (Heb 4:14)
We apply the blood of Jesus over us, our families, our possessions and finances, our dwelling place, our transportation, our land, and our places of influence. For Your blood is a hedge of protection round about us across all realms and dimensions. (Lev 17:11, Rev 12:10, 1 John 5:8, Eccl 10:8-11)
We deploy the heavenly hosts to stand shoulder-to-shoulder round about us (2 Kings 6:17, Heb 1:14, Ps 91:11-12), fully armed and equipped, and ready to pierce through any enemy who draws near. May they bind the enemy with chains and fetters of iron, throw them in cages, and send them to the feet of Jesus to do with them as He wishes.
May we draw near to the secret place, under the shadow of Your wings. For You are our fortress, our high tower, our defense, our shield and our buckler. (Ps 91)
And Father, we place on all the armor You have given us. We place on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace on our feet, the shield of faith to quench the fiery arrows of the enemy on behalf of our whole family, the helmet of salvation, our sword which is Your Word bathed in heaven, the cloak of zeal, the garments of vengeance, and above all we clothe ourselves with Jesus. (Eph 6:13-18, Ps 18:14, Ps 149:8, Is 59:17, Rom 13:12) Renew our minds with the Mind of Jesus. (Rom 12:2) Surround us with Your songs of deliverance. (Ps 32:7)
May the eyes of our spiritual understanding be enlightened. (Eph 1:18) May we be led only by the Your Holy Spirit. (Rom 8:14) May we lift up our heads and may the King of Glory come in. (Ps 24:7) May the heavens release all spiritual blessings stored up to execute Your assignments. Blessings of gifting, anointing, resources, and Divine help. (Eph 1:3) Thank You, Jesus!
I pray the gates of heaven would open. Drop down the heavens and reign righteousness on Your people, the earth may bring forth salvation through the Blood of The Lamb (Is 45:8, Ps 144:5), the gates of brass and bars of iron which are constructed to hinder these blessings are collapsed in Jesus name (Is 45:1-2), and may Your Living Water flow like a river, freely, from the Throne of Grace to and through all of us. (Rev 7:17)
We ask this all in the power, authority, and righteousness found in Christ Jesus, and sealed by His blood. Amen.
